Latest! Nottingham's Albert Hall will be the venue on Saturday 13 March for NSO's second concert of the 2009/2010 season. The concert looks set to be unmissable, featuring as it does a performance of Brahms Piano Concerto No.2 to be played by the brilliant young Ukrainian pianist, Alexei Grynyuk (pictured). This will be Alexei's third performance with NSO, having been invited back by very popular demand. His performance with the Orchestra of the Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No.3 in November 2008 ranks as one of the most electrifying your author her ever heard. The March concert starts with Richard Strauss' Don Juan and concludes with the Shostakovich Symphony No.1.
